I've been a winner with a Winner wig!I began wearing a Vogue Winner wig in August 2014 due to thinning hair and areas of no hair coverage on the back of my head. Immediately during my first wearing I got compliments on my new hairdo...sometimes I told the person that I was wearing a wig, sometimes I just said I thought it was time for a new look. No one ever questioned if it was a wig. I was on my way! In the years since my first one, I have purchased four more of the same style, same color wig...no need to tamper with success. I wear a different one of the five wigs every day, all day long and each of them are getting a bit limp, even using special wig shampoo, allowing them to dry on a wig stand, never combing them when they are wet, etc. Additionally the velcro adjustment straps are losing their grip. I am going to order wig #6 in a few days just to freshen up my look...not sure what I'll do with the ones I have, although I'll likely retire several of them, and keep several in the rotation until they no longer "hold" to my head as well as they should. I know that I will wear a wig until forever, because there seems no hope of my own hair filling in the empty spots. Thank goodness for Vogue wigs and particularly the Raquel Welch Winner wig(s).

It never gets identified as a wig!I have been wearing the Winner synthetic wig from Rachel Welch for years now. Ever since I began getting a balding spot on top of my head, so I did a buzz cut. I have tried several colors, but the Glazed Strawberry is my favorite. I go on touring trips and everyone always wants to know where I get my hair done. I always tell them 'Rachel Welch' and you can have the same! It is so easy to care for - you just shake it out and run your fingers thru it. Even in the wind it turns out looking like natural hair does when the wind blows. Love it!

A tip regarding short wigs:I've already reviewed this wig--I love it! But as I read reviews, it became clear that some women who like boy cut styles can't deal with bits and strands of their natural color peeking out. Be bold--do what I did: took the dog's clippers and gave myself a buzz cut! Now this is not for the fainthearted, I realize. And I am not, nor do I intend to be, in a relationship. It's just me and my Yorkie, Sam. (And he wouldn't care if I shaved my head or wore a purple wig. Wisely, he only sees what's inside me.) But, if you dare, buzz it!

Expected better qualityI purchased this wig at the end of January. When I finally took it out of the box, I saw all these hairs sticking out at the crown. They were short and very straight. I wore it and noticed there was a string hanging down, Pulled it out and found out is was a long hair. I washed the wig in wig shampoo and put on wig conditioner. I was hoping the stick straight hairs at the crown would be better. They were not. Even tried wig spray and the hairs continued to stick out straight all over.
The construction of this wig was poor in quality.
I like the color it was right on. I had purchased a winner wig several years ago and the construction was good. My suggestion is if you get this wig, to look at the crown. If you see short stick straight hair, put it in the box and return it.

Love this wig!I bought this wig as I really like short styles and don't like a lot of hair in my face. It is great. The shade I have is red - R28S+. It is a very natural red color - everyone tells me they didn't know it was a wig! I wear it every day and it stays put, even if I move my head upside down, or wear it on a windy day. When I wash it, it springs right back to the original style. This photo was taken about a year after I bought it, so you can tell it stays true to color and style! You' ll love it!

Fantastic!I love this wig! The first time I wore it all my coworkers thought I had lightened my hair and got a new hairdo. They couldn't believe it was a wig and now they all want wigs! I told them to go to www.voguewigs.com!

What happened to the Winner wig?I have previously given this a 5 star review. This is my favorite wig and I order it in the Glazed Vanilla. My most recent purchase of the Winner wig is a huge disappointment! The wig looks fake and the hair strands are falling out. I am going to order another, and I hope this horrible wig is just an exception that slipped through quality control. If I get another disappointing Winner I will go to another brand. I wear my wigs every day.

Jeanne in GeorgiaThis is my first wig. I love it so much that I ordered another just like it right away. It is true
that it only needs a shake and it is ready to wear.
Everyone loves it, and right away they want to
know who styled my hair. I am really sold on
wigs and threw away the curling iron !!! Your
service is great and your web site offers so much information for us first time customers.Posted on

Out the door!!Had dinner plans with friends at 6:00. Winner was in the mailbox when I got home at 5:40. Opened the box, a little shake, and out the door I went!! No fuss. How great is that?! I love it!!! (So did my friends - asked who did my hair)
