This is only my second experience with choosing a wig and the first time buying one on line. I ordered on line because I live in a smaller town that did not cater to wig wearers and was not able to find a petite size any other way. The first time I ordered this wig, I could tell the color was not red enough for me. My goal was to get close to the color I already had in the first wig but get the better fit of the petite size. I put it on and found it to be darker not lighter. The wig had lace or mesh at the forehead. This was not made clear in the description and I don't really like this. The plastic mesh is sharp and stiff and irritates my skin even though I trimmed it back. I may have to trim it back more. I did have to have it cut and shaped as it was very heavy and overwhelming around my face and really did not lay quite like the picture. I also had bangs cut for me because that looks best on my face. The texture is nice, very soft and I am getting compliments and good feedback.

This wig is gorgeous, but be careful when choosing petite size wigs. I don't have a large head, but this wig is a really small fit. Too bad it doesn't come in larger sizes. After wearing it for a month, the hair started to "frizz" in the front. I never slept in the wig and can't figure out why it looked heat damaged b/c I also never ironed or dried it. Since there is nothing I can do to improve the frizzed hair parts, I can no longer wear it b/c it's very obvious. Too bad I'm not able to exchange it at this point since I've done nothing to harm the wig, but it is damaged. Synthetic wigs are great, but can also prove to be difficult to maintain.
