Teased Up Beehive by Lacey - $38.95
I purchased this wig in blonde for an Effie Trinket costume, and when it arrived, which is the photo I uploaded, I was ecstatic that the curls were close to the face at the wig edge unlike the website photo and slightly concerned that the curls were so defined on the rest of the wig. However all I did was run my fingers through the curls that I wanted taller and less defined, and I got the EXACT Effie hair required for my look. The crown of the head has a heavier weave to make it stand higher off my natural head, which gave plenty of room for my 24" long natural hair to hide. The curls around the face were perfect to conceal the edges of the wig and the manufacturing was amazing for a $40 wig. I have purchased from here before when I costume stage shows, but never for myself. However after this experience I will be buying more for myself just for the fun of it all.
Best costume wig ever!
GREAT wig for Queen Elizabeth I
I am an entertainer at the Arizona Renaissance Festival. I use this wig as part of my costume. I order a new one every season. I decorate it with pearls and other jewels. It makes for a great wig for the style of Queen Elizabeth I. One note: as I do, you might need to take it to your hairdresser to "style" for you as it comes squished flat in a plastic bag.
Great costume wig. The "cone" thing built inside on the top gives it great height.
Styling is flat and squished the way it is shipped; thus, it must be "styled" before it can be worn. If worn out in the sun, the red color of the wig eventually fades and the fibers lose their shiny luster. But, the price is right which makes it afforda
Used this wig for a production of "Chicago" in which I played Mary Sunshine...worked really well.
Full and very high wig.
