Okay y'all--there were literally hundreds of wigs in the store. I looked first at the human hair options and then wandered into the synthetic section against the back wall. I was definitely looking for a short, straight wig but nothing seemed quite right. And then I saw it. The Motown Tress line of wigs is rightly named, because I definitely began to hear music when I saw the STORM: "She's your/Queen to be-ee/A vision of perfection..." (and just in case y'all didn't know--that's the crazy song from "Coming to America"!). It was love at first sight! But wait--there was a problem--the wig was a mingled grey color. Hoping against hope, I went to the store manager to ask if it came in any other colors... When she held up a deep chestnut (2) version of the wig, I actually EXHALED (yeah, I know I watch too many movies). I plan to buy two more in the same color just in case they discontinue the style. If you are considering a new look, I highly recommend that you enter the STORM!
Pros:--Not nearly as hot as a longer wig would be,
--Maintains its shape beautifully,
--Is well made and adjustable,
--Has a very chic and fashion forward edginess to it!
Cons:--The style of the wig, although gorgeous, may be a little too avant-garde for some more conservative women,
--The dramatic angle of the hair is difficult to adjust without some tailoring (cutting),
--And lastly, the wig's thick sweep of hair might overwhelm faces with more delicate features.
