To be fair, I must state up front that I am comparing this item (Starlights Clip-In Hair Extension by Dancing with the Stars) with its synthetic counterpart. The real hair, in this review, is 49 dollars. The synthetic hair is 14 dollars. Both are R25-Ginger Blonde. My reason for opting for this real hair is that the fake hair seems to get a bit bushy after a month of 3-4 day use. I thought the real hair would hold up better and not frizz out like the synthetic. I've only used the 49 dollar hair for a couple of weeks and it seems to hold up well. I am inclined, however, to stick with the 14 dollar synthetic for 2 reasons 1. The synthetic clip-in seems to be thicker (more hair). 2. The R25 synthetic color seems to be cooler, whereas the real hair had more reddish-coppery shades. Not a big fan of the warmer colored shades. This real hair may be able to be cooled down with an ash toner or a metallic Sades EQ, but I haven't tried that yet. So far, for my 4 or so days use, the synthetic trumps the real hair.
Pros:
Extra clips for stability Looks slightly more realistic.
Cons:
Color is warmer [than the swatch and] the synthetic counterpart. The real hair extension is thinner(lesss hair).
