Spiky Cut Synthetic Wig by hairdo - $101.15
Caution: Not as pictured.
The manufacturer has chopped up this wig, so it looks NOTHING like the photo presented. The first time I got this wig, it was perfect; just as shown, a nice short and lightweight shag cut. The second time I ordered the same wig, it was so choppy and tightly woven especially in the bang area where it looked and felt like a mound of hair in the front, and felt all over like a sewn up clump of hair. But, since I liked it SO much the first time, I thought I'd try a third time from a different online store, but it was the same chopped up mess. I'm glad Vogue has allowed us to comment on this board and not delete negative reviews, because as consumers we need to be informed. Before I started wearing wigs, I often read that manufacturers sometimes don't stick with the same cutting process and the style changes; sadly, this seems to be the case with the Spiky Cut.
Nice Spiky Cut
Received the wig today. I like the color (glazed black cherry) and the fitting felt very comfortable. The hair feels soft and natural and I like how I can run my fingers through it and spike it. Also the hair length in the back is just right. It covers any loose hair underneath, it just blends well. I also ordered in chocolate copper, but they didn't have it in stock. They will try to get one in for me and will notify me in a couple of weeks.
Hair is soft and comfortable. Just the right cut all around for that spikey look.
Wish they had more selections on colors.
I am very pleased with the wig.
I am happy with the company and the product but I have a lot of trouble with the color. .
One of the reasons I order synthetic wigs is because they hold their shape without a lot of styling. I have a medical condition that causes me to have to wear wigs. One thing I don't have is range of motion in my hands and wrists. This wig looked wispy and had some body and curl. When it arrived it was straight as a board. I am going to have to have it styled. I ordered color SS25. I love the color so I am keeping the wig.
Have to style.
Spikey Cut by Hairdo
Hairdo is a new brand for me. I was waiting so anxiously for it to arrive and today it did. I am delighted with the style and quality. My color is the same as the model - SS14-88H. To my delight it has the extra realism of a delicate shading at the roots. When I read the other review saying the top was a little full, I knew I had to have it. Yes the style is spiky, confident and has spark and jazz to it. I absolutely love it. It is a modern, professional cut and can be thinned if you want to. I love it just the way it is. If you want to look great, then this is for you. Thank you to Hairdo and Vogue wigs. I will be ordering this again in yet another shade. It's perfect!! (I'm in my 50's and look and act in my 40's) Go for it!
Over the moon with delight.
spiky cut synthetic wig by hairdo
i loved this cut but i need a light strawberry blonde or a light auburn.
i love everything about this wig
Really poofy on top
I ordered this wig because the style looked so cute in the picture and it was a very reasonable price for a heat-resistant wig. When I put it on, I looked like a middle aged tomboy. :) It's very poofy on top, but I'm just going to continue trying to work with the flat iron on it. Hopefully that will help. The color is great and very realistic though.
Love this Wig
Hairdo wigs are very comfortable when wearing them. Love that I can style like real hair.i have bought six wigs from Vogue & I have loved five of them.
What does the inside look like? Con it adjust down to a small head?

The Spiky is a traditional cap construction. The cap usually has a closed lace layer around the crown at which the hairs are sewn onto by machine. Hair is usually styled in such a way that the crown is lifted so the cap is not visible. This cap gives the hair volume at the crown due to the natural lift.

Hi - could someone please tell me if this is a nice wig. I love the look and wondered if it is permateased for permanent height. Thank you.
The Spiky Cut is a lightweight in the best sense of the world. Only 2 ounces in weight, but packed with playful allure. This face framing short shag with a collar-length back includes all over slightly textured layers for no fuss styling!
