Socialite Lace Front Wig by Eva Gabor - $200.60
Perfect amount of curl
Socialite is my latest wig purchase. The length and the amount of curl are just right. The hairline is natural, overall it is very light and the bangs are easy to style. I bought in the color Mocha. This is a good wig for the price.
length, natural look
Everything about Socialite is wonderful!
I was given Socialite in Honey Toast by a dear friend who knows about my medical hair loss. At any rate, I can't believe how it looks. The lace front is absolutely the best I have seen. It is likely to work for any complexion. The curls are perfect--not too much, not too little. I had a body perm on large perm rods a few years ago and got an effect very much like the amount of curl in wig. I feel so much "at home" when I wear it. It is natural looking and lends itself to multiple looks. Very nice with a small headband or a scrunchie. I must admit that the price intimidated me a bit but it was worth it. I truly believe that this is the most believable wig I have ever had. Next time I plan to try a bit lighter... Go for it!
Style, versatility, amount of curl, easy to style, very natural looking lace front and part.
Perhaps it could be a bit less thick?
Pretty but very coarse fiber
This is a longer style for Gabor so I wanted to try it out - it is almost perfect but the hair fiber is very coarse. The waves are pretty and the lacefront is nice; the color I ordered, GL4-8, is also lovely. It has quite a bit of curl, and the cap is incredibly comfortable. But the hair fiber is just so coarse and dry and appears frizzy even after teasing the waves out with a wide-toothed comb. I really want to like this wig because it has so much going for it, but the hair fiber in the end just didn't look right to me, so it gets stars off for that.
Length is good, especially since Gabor rarely does anything long
A friend of mine got me this for an early mother's day gift in Dark Chocolate GL 4-8. I have not tried a Gabor wig before and I have to say I really like this wig! The cap is very, very comfortable and I love the bouncy curls on it! The lace front fits well to my head and I like how the hairline looks. I can tell you that I will be buying this wig for myself when my others have reached their life expectancy.
Hi, I am considering purchase of Socialite. The woman from Texas mentioned that the loved the wig but found the fiber to be scratchy. Is it FlexLite synthetic? How does FlexLite fiber compare to Kanekelon? I like Kanekelon and I like the wig--maybe you could let me know what the differences are? I would appreciate it very much.
Many thanks,
Kathleen Hamilton <firstname.lastname@example.org>, Auburn WA
Synthetic hair or FlexLite synthetic fiber produces ready-to-wear styles and eliminates weight and volume without sacrificing coverage.

Kanekalon hair can be styled with heating implements such as steam, hair dryers and curling irons. When styled, kanekalon will not lose its shape. Other synthetic fibers cannot be styled in this manner.
