From messily boycut to smooth and elegant, craft your own look with this short pixie wig. Its endless versatility comes from Mono Top construction.

Jon RenauÂ’s Mono Top Collection has the most innovative cap construction available on the market today. Our exclusive construction utilizes a double monofilament top which feels soft and silky inside the cap. Because this design replaces machine wefted strips with monofilament, it eliminates scratchy, irritating friction against the scalp. We strongly recommend this collection for those with fine, thin hair or those searching for the most realistic look available in alternative hair.
  • Virtually Invisible Monofilament Base - Mono Tops give the appearance of actual hair growth straight out of the scalp. Each Mono Top piece features over and under hand-tied hairs to simulate a natural hairline.
  • Supremely Natural Hair Movement - Every hair in the monofilament top is individually hand-tied, one strand at a time. Each hair can move and swivel freely, just as hair moves when growing from a follicle. A Mono Top hairpiece will never appear stiff, bulky or artificial.
  • Unlimited Styles, Perfect Fit - Mono Top wigs can be styled and parted in any direction, just like natural hair. The Mono Top design also reduces weight and hair density on the top of each piece. With their light weight, smooth fit, and the option to secure adhesive to polyurethane strips inside the front hairline and ear tabs, Mono Top wigs feel perfectly customized.

    I look good again!

    January 15, 2013

This wig is incredibly comfortable - I can wear it all day long forgetting it's even there. I bought it in the color closest to my own, 39F38, and have received many compliments on it from friends and co-workers alike, most of whom didn't even know it was a wig. I took it to my stylist the day it came in, and she thinned the top and tweaked the cut a little around the ears to make it more like my own hair - which never looked this good! After years on a cancer preventive drug, I know I can go anywhere confident that I look good again.

    Pros

Comfort (!), realistic feel of the hair, ease of styling

    Cons

Nothing, but I'm glad my stylist customized it for me.

Q.
Pixie asked:

What is the main difference between this Simplicity Jon Renau Wig and the Petite Simplicity by Jon Renau? I realize this one has a monofilament top so that is a main difference. However, the other Simplicity is called "Petite" Simplicity, so is there a significant difference, or any difference at all, between the two wigs' cap sizes? I find the Petite Simplicity wig's cap size to be average, and it fits pretty much like all the other Jon Renau wigs I've bought. Also, I noticed that the Petite Simplicity has fewer color selections (at least on Vogue.com). Is there any reason for this limitation? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

A.
Hair Gurus: The only difference between these two items are that one is an average cap size and the other is a petite cap size. You will know if you need an average cap size or a petite cap size by your head measurements.
