Shasta Synthetic Wig by Rene of Paris - $83.95
Rene of Paris wigs are quite comfortable; no itching as I sometimes get with other brands. I bought this wig as it's close to the current length of my actual hair, which I am trying to grow out. I wanted something to put on when I was having one of those shaggy, growing-out, bad hair days, and this really fits the bill. When I've told people it was a wig (usually because they compliment me on my hair) they couldn't believe it. The cut is also very flattering. My natural hair is black, and I ordered the Dark Chocolate - it's lighter than my natural haircolor but black is rarely natural-looking in a wig; this is a lighter but very pretty shade and still quite dark if that's what you're going for. Overall, ROP wigs are well worth the money! (sorry for the crummy webcam photo)
I've been wearing wigs for a while due to hair loss, and I've had many wigs. This wig was, by far, my favorite. The cut is great, and even though it doesn't have a monofilament top, it still looks very realistic. Got MANY compliments when I had it on, and few people realized that it was a wig. The price is also very reasonable. :)
This was one of the first wigs I'd owned after losing my hair. I got tons of compliments on it, even though I thought it looked a little wiggy, others didn't seem to notice. The cap was very nice, why Rene of Paris doesn't use their "Aero-Lite" cap on all of their wigs is a mystery to me.
