Love this wigBy Diane from Oregon on December 19, 2011 I received this wig today, and it is perfect. This is my first Rene of Paris wig and the quality is excellent. The hair looks so realistic. And it is very comfortable. This is the first time I have bought from vogue wigs. I got a great discount, the shipping was fast and free, and I got a stand and net for under my wig thrown in. Since this is my first wig I have no others to compare it to, plus without hair under it, I'm sure it fits a bit differently. That's probably why I had to trim about an inch off the bangs.
The band seems to show in front, not sure if it's because of the trim, so I wear a hat with it.
Overall it's been just what I needed, so I can feel comfortable going out in public. Though I think it was mislabeled, because the color was not light brown as I ordered, even though the tag says light brown. It has a very reddish tone (and others who see me in it have agreed.)Pros:Nice wig for synthetic.

I had no time to return it and try again as I needed the wig right away.

I own several wigs now. This is me in my Samy by Rene of Paris wig in Spring Honey at a friend's outdoor wedding on a hot and humid July evening. I love my hair because while everyone else was miserable, with damp/wet hair hanging down and sticking to sweaty necks, Samy and I stayed cool and dry all evening! I am a retired hairdresser who wears wigs for fun, not for medical reasons (thank you, God). They are convenient, easy, and allow me to express my moods and personality, like my choice of clothing and jewelry.
This wedding was a beach theme so I wore a long, hot pink, gauze dress with sandals and Samy. The short layer cut has great style and movement, and the Spring Honey color made me feel like a California beach blond in an Indiana municipal park! You just can't beat a product that truly takes you away from the mundane, and makes you feel confident, glamorous, and stylish. The best part? No one guessed I was wearing a wig until I whipped it off to toss along with the bride's bouquet to make everyone laugh. The wedding was getting much too Indiana-park-mundane for this California-beach-Samy girl! And my husband loves it that he goes to bed with one girl and sometimes wakes up with a different girl. Hey, after 30 years of marriage, a girl has to change it up somehow. I have begun working out, dancing, and wearing makeup again. Surprisingly, I am even receiving male attention. I saw an old boyfriend of mine who I hadn't seen in 20 years. He said that I looked truly gorgeous. Do you know what that did for my ego? This wig gave me a new lease on life!
I do love this wig. It's beautifully styled, light weight, comfortable, and it always looks so natural. It's easy to care for also. I have washed it twice and it still looks fresh. I just wash it, shake it and wear it! No more bad hair days! My hair always looks good!
I just put on my hair, apply my makeup, and I am out the door. It makes my life lighter! I wish that I had worn a wig when I was younger. Yes, I'm 66 but I am still going strong!
