Sabrina Monofilament Wig by Henry Margu - $285.00
I have worn Prodigy by Gabor for several years now but have been looking for a monofilament that was just a little more tailored. I believe this is it. The wig is well made and very realistic. I started my collection with color 14H, and I have to say the color is stunning. I'm not sure it is exactly right for me as it is a bold, saturated color. I didn't want to go to ashy as it washes me out, but now I am wondering if the 16H would be just right. As another reviewer wrote, the nape is a tad long on me and I might eventually trim it, but I am waiting until the wig fully relaxes as it will over time. As of this writing I have worn it continuously for two weeks and the cap seems to be getting looser (not good for me) I have washed it once with dish soap and cool water to dampen some of the shine, which it did. Overall, I am very pleased with it. I believe it is worth the price. I would like to see this done in the colors Jon Renau uses, but probably not going to happen. If you like quality, and if you are petite and don't want an overwhelming amount of hair in a wig, this is a godsend. Do keep in mind that the colors in this Henry Margu pallet are very saturated and vivid.
Excellent quality, soft fibers, expert cut, ideal for petite or petite average head size, vivid colors.
Wish more subdued colors offered.
I own this wig and it looks so much better than this picture. Looks very natural, comfortable, great looking style. Everyone thinks its my "real hair". I own it in the platinum blond, most people comment on the color and they want to know where I have it done.
Great style, looks real, not too much hair to be unbeleivable. Love it! You can shake and ware it right out of the box!!!!!
This is a great wig. Comfortable and wearable for all seasons. I have 24h18 and after 2 1/2 years I still get compliments on the color and cut. People can't believe it is not my own hair.! I have washed it twice with a drop of dish detergent in a gallon of cool water, rinse and air dry. Just great!
Color gets lots of compliments. Looks great on me, took ten years off!
Nothing at all!
Sabrina Monofilament Wig by Henry Margu
This wig looks so much better out of the box than the picture on line. Don't be fooled, it is more shapely and detailed and the length is just right. Mine will need trimming in the back as I want a shorter nape. The top can be parted anywhere and on close inspection I would defy anyone to know it's a wig. Natural front hairline if you want to wear it back. The sides can be swept behind the ear if you don't want to trim them shorter. The cap is very comfortable and true to size average. This style isn't inappropriate for me at 70 years of age.
