If you plan to brush and style your wig on a stand, you probably want something with a weighted base. This stand is very lightweight, but even though it feels almost flimsy, it is actually pretty sturdy. It's perfect for storing my wigs and for drying them after shampooing. I love how easily it folds flat for travel.
