I purchased this wig in 1B. It was my first wig and I was really worried about wearing a wig and looking horrible in it. When I first put it on I was pleasantly surprised at how realistic it is. It just looks like a great hair cut. Now I don't want to be deceptive and tell you that no one will know it's a wig. If you are African American as I am, you may get a double take or two, followed by a compliment and an inquiry about where you found such a great wig. It still looks very real, and you really will be proud to wear it. You won't be sorry if you buy it. At thirty something dollars, it's well worth the purchase.
