I don't have that much hair and I thought this would work as a ponytail. You really need something to start with and then I imagine this would add body to your ponytail. Plus the color isn't right. I bought it in Bordeaux and my hair is a dark red with purplish tones. The piece I got is much more brown than my hair, but I can probably fix that with some temporary color spray.
