Sheds a lot at first. The cap is not as fine of fabric as the Upstage Hand Tied cap, which is my favorite,super light weigh fabric, you can see through it. Celebrity's cap is also larger and the thicker, fabric is stretchy for larger heads. It also feels a little fuller and is hotter on than Upstage which a VERY light. You forget you have that one on!
