This wig looks weird at the hairline. It's almost like there's a bald spot where the part meets the forehead, no matter where you part it.
Pros -
The color is beautiful, more of a cool blonde than a honey, but still lovely. Also, it is surprisingly easy to de-tangle despite the length.Posted on

Stunning WigThis is my go-to wig for going out on the town. I just love it and it does not disappoint. I get so many compliments with people perplexed as to how real the hairline looks.
As with any synthetic wig, you need to keep the wig away from heat and moisture when dancing the night away. I did get some frizzing from a year of hard use and I had it cut and thinned a bit, this gave the wig new life and I was back at the dance floor again. I will probably order another one once I finally kill this one.Posted on

True to it's Namesake!I purchased this wig in Color RL19/23SS and it did NOT disappoint. This is by far my most favorite synthetic wig purchase! I received so many compliments on this wig and it makes me feel so incredibly feminine. The mono-filament, lace front wig lends a great deal of credibility to the natural look. The perfectly placed highlights allow for movement and a light feel. Although the wig is long it is incredibly light and easy to wear. The wig fits great with a wig grip or with the comfort straps it comes with.
The hair is silky and wears well for all day. I set my part (thanks to the generous mono-filament top) used a low setting on my blow dryer and out the door I went. Most wigs I have to tweeze, or make some minor texturing for it to lay correctly...not this one. She's beautiful!Posted on

Great purchase!This is my second Raquel purchase and definitely my favorite! I got the color RL12-22SS, which is incredibly realistic - I love this color - so natural - a dark blonde with highlights and darker roots. The lace front is very comfortable and the part is very realistic. It is a tad too long for me. Wish they would make this exact wig in a shorter version because this is too long for me in my 50's....if I were younger, this would be perfect. I did try to curl it, but all I really achieved was a gentle wave....it looks good though! The best thing about the Scene Stealer is that is doesn't look bulky or wiggy on my head. I also have JR's Zara, and I find it has way too much hair for my head and it ends up looking bulky, but not the Scene Stealer....it is great if your head is narrow or smaller. I also wear Gabor's "Simply Flawless" in colors GL 11-25 and 15-26 and they look amazing too...and they aren't as long as this one. I would buy again so that says a lot!

My favoriteI own sets in hazelnut and in the honey ginger color. All RW's wigs I purchased have a very realistic lace front. It is ready to wear with a breathable cap that makes it suitable to any social function. I use Rachel's mostly because no other wigs have felt as natural as RW's lace fronts. This wig has a smaller cap than the Goddess or the Cover Girl styles (I have posted reviews on those). I hired a stylist to add lace onto the wig's ear tabs to have it looking just like the lace front at the top. Therefore, the only cons is its smaller cap running short on the sides. Long length wigs such as this offer great styling options, which I enjoy. I flat iron the hair time and time again, cut few inches off, restyle so my sets last longer and look fresh. It was only after one year of use of my first set the lace was rendered u unusable. It had a good run!

Lovely LengthI thought I'd try this style for fun and was surprised by how much younger I looked once I tried it on. It is quite long, and if you are in your (late) fifties, this wig's long length may be "out of your comfort zone" for everyday wear. Raquel Welch wigs are natural looking, easy to style and made of high quality soft synthetic fibers that look so much like human hair that no one can tell the difference. The Scene Stealer is a wig that is fun to wear, with luxurious, voluminous, long strands. I wear it for that occasion when I want to steal the scene. Love it!

Hmm..This was my first purchase of a Lace Front and needless to say, I was very disappointed. I have Aleopcia and i'm completely bald. I ordered this wig in a Hazelnut shade which constisted of orange/yellowish tones, and dark brown through out. (I was going to a medium brown and blond highlights..) After seeing the colors of this wig, I didn't attept to try it on. I did hold the Lace Font to my hand it the hair was very thin and translucent where the hair line was suppose to be. Although the hair felt very life like, almost like human hair. I watch several reviews before I purchase a wig and the models must have had hair underneath inorder for the lacefont to look fuller. I don't believe that is false advertisement, but I do wish they would post pictures of the lacefront upclose and personal with a bald model. Other than that, the wig looked very well constructed. It seemed to be very lite and it looked like your head would reveive plenty of air so you didn't get so hot. The wig itself felt thin, not as much hair as I am used to. Since I never actually tried this wig on, don't let me stop you from purchasing this wig, it may be perfect for you.

LovelyThis is my go to hair, but I'm only rating it 3 stars because I've been wearing this style since 2011 & I feel like the quality has gone down a bit. It's just small things, like in my last order the little strip, that's a bit thicker than the lace, was much more noticeable. I could definitely see it & that's not good. Still this style is hard to find a replacement for.

Best wig everI lost my hair after undergoing chemotherapy and tried various wigs, none of which I was satisfied with because they felt "wiggy". I recently bought the scene stealer wig in Hazelnut SS8-29 as I am a singer and needed something glamorous. I am absolutely thrilled with it, it looks and feels really natural and the darker roots make it look even more realistic. It's definitely the best wig I have ever purchased.
