ROP Med Top PieceI really like this, but I ordered it in Silverstone, thinking it would have some of the darker color toward the back, It is all one color so doesn't blend in with my hair. If you can get the right color, I think it would be great.

My number one look!I have been wearing the Rene of Paris medium top piece for over 10 years. I started out as a redhead, then for several years I wore cappuccino. The pic with the blue necklace on is my current color, coffee latte.
I trim the piece, or use a razor to shorten ends, or maybe I want more layers this month..? I add more layers! I also wear it with no trimming, just as is.
It is super light weight, easy to put into your hair and I wear it all day until I go to bed. It is virtually like all my own hair, and I get loads of compliments. I keep my own hair trimmed so that you see a lot of my hair mixed into the bangs and at the ends. Very natural that way, and coloring my hair to blend is no big deal, really because most of us have several colors/ shades in our own hair.
I am loving this coffee latte because the highlights soften my look. I am 63 years old now, and thought it time to go just a little softer.
I also use all wig products to style my hairpiece, and my own hair. Wig hair spray is critical for me to get the look I want. That creates texture and height where I want it. If I want to play with it more, I simply brush it out and start over.
Many women seem to complain about a wig or hairpiece not looking natural out of the box. Using your texturing products can help that. Also, they are softer and silkier when they first arrive, and that's ok, they will gradually become more like your own hair after a few wearings.
I usually have 3-4 to rotate so that I am not just wearing the same one all the time. Lengthens the life of the piece, also,as I said earlier,I may want one more 'piecey' or shorter,so then I can also go to my regular length as well.
I love Vogue wigs! Their prices and service is top-notch. Thanks Vogue for posting pics of us real women wearing all the different styles rather than just the models.Posted on

Works and it is Not Hot.My hair is really thinning on top so I have worn a certain topper for years. It was just discontinued. I tried three that did not work for me and I was afraid to try this one. Still, it was tapered nicely at the sides, for my round face so I took a chance. So glad I did. I have not taken it to be trimmed yet but I have been able to wear it twice and it was fine. More hair than the ones I used to buy and stays where it belongs. I will get another one soon or else a Norika that is on this site. Very pleased with the fast delivery too. I'll be back. Thanks (spring honey)

Great hair topperI love this Rene of Paris medium hair topper. I'm learning how to blend it into my hair but I think it works very well. It's very useful for those with thinning hair! FYI: The color spring honey is lighter than wig color.

Summer time hair doI love this topper. So far I have 6 of them. I wear them several different ways. Most time I just pull my hair back (it's shoulder length) and the put the topper on and pull it back and secure it, sometimes I attach a pony tail, sometimes just pulled back. It takes only a couple of minutes and a little imagination to put on and it always gets compliments. They weren't available for awhile and I am so happy they are back on the market.

great wig alternativeI flipped out my real hair so the style looked like a shag w/ the topper on

Ugly and bulkyThere is no way anyone could wear this horrible hairpiece the way it is pictured here. The hair line is a thick black fabric that looks like an old doily. The clips are so huge and stiff that they are completely inappropriate for thinning hair; the reason you buy a clip in instead of a full wig in the first place.

Great little pieceTook a while to learn how to blend this with my own hair .This looks exactly like my hair. I love this in between colors or for pure laziness!

Sending BackWay too shiny - the middle of the hairpiece looked worn and nappy. I wish Ken Paves would make his hairdo by Ken Paves with the clip in crown volumizer . I have two and have really been trying to take care of them. Love the Ken Paves but the rene of paris just does not look natural to me at all.

Beautiful pieceI purchased this hairpiece for a client who witnessed me cutting and applying a topper to another client in my salon. This client was so moved by the emotional installation of the first, she asked for one as well. Two beautiful hairpieces for two very different guests. Great results for both. I'm always amazed by the transformation.
