Versatile and Looks NaturalI have purchased this wig at least 5 times- and have found that each one I receive has different issues (with the actual make of the wig), but overall, it is a great wig and works great for my long wear and tear of use. I have been wearing this wig with the other Jon Renau curly Heat Defiant wig for years now. Because the colors match and they have a similar make, I am able to wear them interchangeably and people can't tell.
I like wearing them off and on because it can't take the extreme heat of curling it and straightening it every day- plus this particular wig doesn't really stay curly (trust me, I have tried curlers, wands, leaving curlers in overnight.. etc.) I have learned how these wigs work, and it is best if you do not put heat on them until it is necessary to get the tangles/ frizz away after wearing it for a few weeks. Also, it helps to not wash it super regularly because that sometimes leads to more frizz/ tangly hair.
I do lots of hair styles on this particular wig because there are only a few layers. I do tons of braids - and it looks natural because of the great lace front. Though, I have found that the new lace fronts are quite thick in the front and look less natural than the older ones that I bought over a year ago, but it has really stopped the front from fraying away like the old ones always used to do.
The caps always end up being a little bit snug, but it means that they don't slide around when you are an active person.
So many people have no idea I wear wigs because it looks so natural. It is a great wig and I plan on continuing to purchase it until I decide on a new style. It has issues with dying out a bit early, but with my busy college life of wearing it basically all day every day, it makes sense that I go through them quicker than others.
In general, they typically last me about 8 months- with wearing them over 14 hours a day most days. BUT I am very careful to make sure I do not wear them down too often, or outside in the hot sun while I sweat like crazy because that makes them wear down even faster. I keep it up and out of my face and it lasts longer. :)
The first image is of the wig down after wearing it for only a couple of weeks .
The second image is just of the wig up with braids going across the top on both sides- it looks really quite natural, even if both sides are pulled up.
The third shows it pulled up in a bun in the back. I do a braided bun all of the time and it works super well!
As you can tell, this wig has been a great friend to me. It takes a bit of work to figure out how to make it last long, but it is my favorite wig I have ever worn.Posted on

Beautiful but only lasted a few weeks!I ordered this in 14-26S10 and it is beautiful. Initially it was absolute favorite! I didn't use any heat on it because it wasn't necessary to style it, however it does tangle A LOT and after just two weeks the ends became horribly frizzy! I tried everything to make them look better without luck. I am going to try having the wig trimmed and wear it as a mid-length. Disappointing, considering how expensive it was. I did try curling the bangs recently and the curl didn't seem to really "take." I would like to find this in regular synthetic fiber.

Simply beautiful & realistic!!!I have purchased the Fiery Wig (color 12FS8) several months ago & absolutely love it. I have not used any heat products on it as it is beautifully styled as it is. I have had to have the fringe cut but the rest of the style is beautiful & realistic. The only problem I am having with it now is that the ends are becoming frizzy regardless of the fact that I am spraying the ends with the conditioning spray recommended.

Fiery is amazingI purchased Fiery in color 12Fs8. It was a darker blonde than I expected possibly due to the HD fiber versus regular synthetic which my color ring is and the fan photos of people wearing wigs in that color were synthetic not HD. I love it though! The color is more of a Jennifer Aniston blondish brown looking to me. Beautiful in every way. The length is perfect, the bangs are cut perfectly and the fullness of the wig all over is just right. Not so full that it is wiggy looking nor is she thin and stringy. I can wear her right out of the box and that is what I was hoping to get with Fiery. She did tangle a little at first but I sprayed her with JR conditioner and that immediately took care of the problem. I'm going to use hot rollers on her tomorrow to add some bounce to the root area. I can't wait to play with her!! There is nothing I do not love about this wig. I'm having so much fun wearing and playing with her that I ordered Drew in 24B22 today. I don't have a hair loss problem I am just enjoying having great hair everyday!!!! Never a bad hair day again!! I wish Vogue Wigs had a forum where customers could communicate with each other. I would love to chat with others about their wig experiences and share tips for styling and caring for them.

waste of money!!!I spent the extra money for what i thought would be a quality piece...within the first 4 days the bottom was already snarling! I don't dare use heat on it. It's been less than 3 weeks and it already looks and feels awful. There is barely any hair at the front. Just awful! The only pro? The color is gorgeous and the length was perfect. Will NEVER buy again!

Okay but not what I expectedNormally I purchase the Gisele which is not heat resistant. I thought I would try this one in the same color as the Gisele (6/27). Summer is around the corner and I didn't want to expose my Gisele wigs to the Texas sun and harsh heat. When the wig arrived it had a slightly lighter shade in highlights and appeared shiny. The fibers were silky and I found the texture to be soft and pleasant. After wearing it for a day the wig appeared "greasy" so I washed it gently using the Jon Renau shampoo and conditioner. It appeared fresher. However I will say that the wig does tangle more than my Gisele and it does NOT tolerate mildly heated rollers as well as I expected. You have to "baby" this wig, being careful to "pick" out the tangles and use conditioner. If you use rollers, they must be only warm to the touch and don't anticipate alot of curl either. Also there were a few fray and dry strands in the back of the wig that I didn't notice until I washed it. I guess I am a little disappointed after spending so much money on a wig that I thought would be easy to wear everyday. I would still recommend this wig to a friend but with caution. I wish I read the review before mine and perhaps I wouldn't have such high expectations.

Pretty and Realistic-looking WigI have had Fiery (in shade 4/33) for about 5 months. I haven't worn it regularly; I've been switching off with other wigs. I decided to wear it again yesterday, and was pleased with the way it looked and felt. This wig is slightly fuller in volume than I'm comfortable with - I prefer less dense wigs. This wig is pretty though, and very realistic looking, which I find to be the case with the heat defiant wigs. I have cut a few inches off the length. I have not used any heat appliances on this wig, and I don't intend to. It does tangle fairly easily, especially at the ends, but a good spray-on conditioner remedied that problem. I do wish this wig had a fully hand-tied cap. I would consider buying again, perhaps in #6.
