This wig is fabulous. Lace front, very comfy, easy to style, though it took me a while to figure it out with the curling iron. If you are having trouble curling it, here are my tips: 1) the polymer WILL melt if you leave it on the iron too long, and 2) the curl sets as it COOLS (not as it heats). So you need to get the synthetic fibers hot with the iron (just long enough to heat the fibers), then unwrap it and quick (while hair is still hot) twist it back up into the curl shape you want with your fingers. hold it there another 10 seconds or so as it cools. Then your curl is set. When you first unwrap from the curling iron, the curl is not set and it just unwraps and still looks straight. But the hair is hot and if you curl/twist to the desired shape with your fingers before it cools, all is well and the shape will set.
Meanwhile, love the wig. No one has any idea I am wearing one! My hair is always perfect, no dark roots or grays. Its great!

Everyone thinks its mine. Great style for me the part was were mine was and I have never had bangs so with front lace I don't have them now.

  4. Really cute - Not a fan of the "smartlace"

This was my first Jon Renau purchase. I've been wearing wigs for over 15 years due to alopecia. I chose this particularly because of the cute and playful hairstyle. The style is a bit different from the picture. I have yet to actually use heat curls on it. Unfortunately, it was frizzy up top right out of the box. Not sure if this was a dud or if this is how Jon Renau wigs are. Didn't take long to style at first. However after a few weeks, the bangs area started to thin a bit. This is my first "smart lace" cap wig. It sounds great in theory, but it can be difficult to hide once it thins. I've also noticed that the back of the wig is starting to fray a little bit and I've only had it a month and a half. Not sure if I'll purchase this wig again, but I love the style. And price wise, it is on the expensive side - at least for me since I've been buying Forever Young wigs for the past few years. Also, I have natural red hair and I'm always struggling to find wigs that match my actual hair color. I purchased the color in FS27 - it is too light for my taste and not enough red. Overall, I do like it, but I hate how the bangs thin at the smart lace cap.

This is my first wig and NO one knows it's not my own hair! I use hot rollers on it and that works great, I'm into my 5th week and no problems to speak of other than I find the front lace a tad scratchy.
