Electric Blue Foxy Makes Me Happy!When my doctor recommended that I receive chemotherapy, I was scared. My friend took me out to lunch and said, “Let’s just get you a blue wig and rock this thing out.” All of a sudden it sounded doable. I went home, found voguewigs.com and ordered this bright blue bob, along with some other wigs in impossible colors. The first time I went to the hospital after I lost my hair I wore the blue wig, and everyone just burst into smiles when they saw me. Now, each week, the whole office waits to see what crazy look I’m sporting. It’s fun. The wig is comfy, and a startling number of people think it’s my real hair! Even in this hot summer weather, it is not overly hot. (Of course, I’m bald, so that makes it a little cooler.) I like the style and the bright, shiny color. Most of all I love the fact that when people look at me they see a person being silly, not a person being sick. That’s what I’d rather put out to the world, and this cool wig makes it possible. If I were to win the current contest, I’d give the gift certificate to my oncology nurses so that they could give fun wigs to other patients who need a smile.

Whose That Lady?I first purchased this wig in black for a tap dance performance. Prior to the show I ran into some friends I know and they had no idea it was me. They loved me in this wig. Since then I have worn it for Halloween and other performances. I have long blonde hair and really love the change without it being permanent. This wig is very comfortable and the quality for the price can't be beat. I just purchased it in Ginger for another performance and will wear the black again for a formal Christmas Great Gatsby Style Gala.
