My hair has been thinning for 10 years. My natural hair makes me look older than I actually am (57) and certainly older than I feel. It's gotten to the point where I wear clip-in bangs with a hat every day but I now feel the necessity to do something else. I am trying wigs. I have been looking for something close to my natural color and length. My natural hair is a very short layered bob in a medium brown and surprisingly, I am having difficulty finding something that I consider to be %u201Cclose%u201D. Everything I have tried just seems like %u201Ca lot of hair%u201D, too dark, too light or too bright and being new to wigs, I am afraid that people will immediately guess that I am wearing a wig as they all seem so %u201Cdrastic%u201D. After a lot of visiting wig stores to try on different brands and ordering & returning several wigs online, I have decided to keep the Prodigy by Gabor. I originally ordered it in G8 which turns out to be a lighter brown than my natural color. It looks like my color but with highlights put in. However, I like the cut and style enough to keep it. I liked it so much in fact that I ordered it in the next darker color on the chart, G6 , which I assumed would be darker and a better match, but it is quite similar to the G8 in value, it%u2019s just a warmer color of brown. Looking at the two wigs side-by-side, they look extremely similar: the G8 is more of an ash brown and the G6 is warmer. I prefer the G6 , but will keep the G8 for the spring when I will have %u201Chighlights%u201D put in my hair. I was going to post a picture of myself wearing each color, but they looked so similar, that the difference is completely lost. I decided to post a picture of myself wearing the G6 which is the warmer version and my personal favorite. I also took a picture of the two side by side so you can see there is not a whole lot of difference between the two. Aside from my issues with the online swatch and color ring inaccuracies, there are a number of things I like about this wig: The mono filament top with lace front makes this wig quite believable. It is light and comfortable, much better-fitting for my head than other brands I%u2019ve tried. No pressure points, it stays in place. Love, love love this little wig!! I feel cute again. I highly recommend it.

I have received so very many compliments on this wig I own 5 other wigs all from Vogue but this one is beyond belief would recommend to anyone, love the color more than any of the others I own.

Love love love my prodigy wig. After years of heartbreak with thinning hair in front I took a chance & bought my first prodigy in G19. Colorado was incredible w natural Darker tones at nape of neck...so many compliments & I look so much younger & actually look younger too!. Have since ordered 3 more but in G16 this time & simply cant say enough about the incredible layering cut ind feel of this wig. Silky w a lace front that is so sheer You simply cant see it when its on...it just blends in with your skin & of course the bangs are just perfect...not too little& not too much! This one is a keeper. Have to order more so I never ever run out! Of course my first one is over a year old now & still looks new. Get the "HAIRUWEAR" Products to maintain your wigs & they will last so much longer!!

I've worn many wigs--both human hair and synthetic--and this one is BY FAR the most comfortable and natural-looking wig that I've worn. I ordered it in color 511C, which is a salt and pepper color, and I've had several people ask when I got my hair cut. :-) This is the only wig that I can wear for hours and hardly notice that I'm wearing a wig. I also love the lace front because it is very natural looking and comfortable. I highly recommend this wig.
