Mrs. Doubtfire by Lacey - $32.95
Perfect for a period play circa 1922
This is one of few wigs that fit me comfortably - not too big, not too tight. The front hairs tended to be a bit fly-away, but I have anchored them with pins and hairspray and it works beautifully. My character is Mrs. Graves in "Enchanted April."
Mrs. Doubtfire as "Martha Brewster".
Love the wig. The gray color works perfectly as coiffure for Martha Brewster - "Arsenic and Old Lace".
I like the feel of the "hair" and the natural appearance. And it's fairly simple to restyle as necessary to fit one's face, shape of head, etc.
No wig is going to feel comfortable after 3 hours on stage, so it wouldn't be fair to call this wig uncomfortable 'cause for most of the play it works beautifully.
