I use my curling iron on low heat to keep ends smoth or curl. works awesome. color is fantastic. must have wig!

I love being able to pull my own hair through...it makes it look so natural...and you can choose how much you want to pull out...a little or a lot! Unlike a monofilament cap wig, this looks like my own hair. I also love the way it shapes to your own head and that it's so light and airy. This is the only wig I've found that has this kind of cap. For me, I wish all wig manufacturers would make a cap like this!
Pros:
Best cap out there....love the light and airy feeling and like being able to pull my own hair through.
Cons:
like all other synthetic wigs, the shine and bounciness doesn't last all that long.

Way too Top Heavy

I made several attempts and still could not come close to getting either look pictured. The top is bulky and the bangs are shorter and tightly curled under even after washing. No side burn area coverage. Most of highlights are in the back. I ordered R829S and usually love the color and way highlights are placed on RW pieces. I have severe Alopecia so I can't add my own hair to even out the sides and balance top heaviness.
Pros:
The cap really is very lightweight
Cons:
Getting the look pictured was impossible for me. Maybe someone who has a fair amount of their own hair can pull it through and achieve the looks pictured?

The wig is very high on top and looks ridiculous

I was so excited waiting for this wig to arrive. When I opened the box, it was nothing as it appeared. I ordered the glazed cinnamon as shown and there were very few highlights and much darker than my natural hair. There was so much hair on top that it stuck up everywhere. There was also no side coverage as shown. Minimal at best. It was like all the hair was on top. Felt very conspicuous in public because it looked like a big heavy wig. Very disappointed.
Pros:
feels like real hair. very shiny.
Cons:
Top heavy. no side coverage and not as thick and uxurious as shown in picture. Not many highlights and too dark. Not anything like the picture shows.

Front sticks up like a mullet in this wig.

The top of the wig sticks up. I think it is meant to give the wig body but it gives it an unnatural look. It reminded my daughter of a mullet and she gave it to her bald husband and he looked pretty good in it but not something I looked good in.
Pros:
I liked the length. The color was true to the color on my computer.
Cons:
The way it was put together gave a top of the head stand up unnatural look which could not be styled down.

The color is great and the lenght is wonderful. The only problem is the top of the wig has so much hair it doesn't look natural. I will need to thin quite a bit.

I do agree, the wig does not look like the picture on the website, but it is gorgeous and I love wearing it. It looks very natural and is comfortable too. I ordered the color shown and it is spectacular. I have had people ask if I got extensions since it looks so real.
Pros:
Easy to style
Looks real
Cons:
Tends to tangle after awhile, so if you have it on for hours you'll have to brush it with a wig brush

nothing like the photo

I can't believe how different what I received looks like. The top and the bang area stick straight up. It's possible with washing and styling it may resemble the style in the photo. However, if not, then I'm stuck with this. There is absolutely no sideburn coverage, which I need. However, surprisingly it was really comfortable. Too bad it looks like a tangled mop on my head.

I was very disappointed when I received this wig, and returned it. The style is nothing like the photo. It said hi-lited around the face, it was practically all blond and the back was brownish. But the wild sexy look in the picture, not there...just blah. I would not advise this one.

Falsely Advertised

When looking at the photo of Raquel Welsh in this hair piece, I see mostly red bangs and sides with the actual color barely showing up. I assumed this is how it would look when I received it. There weren't red bangs which your description says have been precision cut, but everything is the other color. This was very misleading as I have read hair and would need the red bangs to get this look

R29S is the prettiest color. It looks just like my natural hair. Beautiful style and easy to wear. Lots of things I can do with this wig also. Almost like having my own hair back! A+++ product.

The color is a bit different than what I expected. It's still pretty though. Since it's relatively close, I'm just going to keep it.

I have since ordered a color-ring for future orders though. I highly suggest doing that prior to your purchase if this will be your first Raquel Welch wig. All colors are beautiful and very realistic though.

This style itself looks like I just got my hair cut or styled. It's nice, so hopefully it lasts awhile.

i'm a big fan of raquel welch wigs. i have many others, but i get the most compliments when i wear this one.

i ordered the wig in R4 because I have dark brown hair naturally already. love it!
