This is my second Envy wig. Like the other one I ordered, the coloration on this is amazing. I purchased the Golden-Nutmeg. It is more golden than nutmeg though. Essentially a golden blonde with lighter blonde and nutmeg highlights. This color is dark rooted. The nutmeg is also in the back at the nape under and longer than the blonde overlay. . The nutmeg is a BEAUTIFUL dark strawberry to light chestnut.Too bad not much of it is visible. I wish Envy had a wig in the nutmeg color. I would buy it! All in all it is a very complex and natural looking coloration The style is exactly as shown, falling just above shoulder length. The human/synthetic blend takes a little getting used to. It takes some practice to figure out the right heat level that can be used and I am still experimenting. The hair does tend to be flyaway. I have used leave in conditioner and luster spray on to try and tame it. The hair is also relatively thin and tends to fall close to the head. This does make it look more natural but for the price I would have hoped for a little more hair. The hair is not overly shiny either. The other thing that was a surprise is this is a lace front wig. I didn't notice that in any of the description. The lace looks fine but is stiff and scratchy. I usually don't wear a cap under wigs but have been with this one to keep the lace from scratching my skin. Once I was able to get the cap adjusted correctly, the wig did not move as much and the scratchiness was less noticeable, but a softer lace would have been nice. Again, for the price, more thought should have gone into these types of details. I purchased the wig on clearance with additional percentage off (about $225 total). For that price I got a lace front, monofilament, human hair/ heat defiant synthetic wig with a high end coloration. All in all a pretty good deal. Not sure I would have paid close to $400 for it though. I will be interested to see how well it wears and if tangling occurs given it is slightly below shoulder length in the back.
