Wig wand

Works well, expensive for what it is though. Don't know if I would spend the money on it again although in all fairness all wig sites charge the same for it.

I purchased the glow girl wig, and purchased this along with it in case of shine, however the wig didnt need it but my Easihair 10' extensions did. The extensions clumped together and looked fake but dusting this powder on them worked like a charm and gave them a more natural feel.

Cons:

Size, wish it was a little smaller. The powder comes out too quick. Price is a little high for what it is.

i just started purchasing wigs and i used this for the first time on one of my forever young wigs. it doesn't come with instructions so i guessed at how to use it at first. i feel like too much powder comes out and it doesn't really cut the shine, but i could very well just be using it wrong! i feel like with the right knowledge it'd be a life saver?

The Wig Wand works very well at removing "shine" from my wigs. I had been using a powder puff & powder, but I like this better because it has a handle on it. I love it.

Its useful in the way that its convenient however if you just sprinkle some baby powder or cornstarch (since that's all baby powder is) on it and run your fingers through, you'll get the same effect.

I think this product is good, does what is says it will and reduces shine. It is easy to use and virually mess free. However, I purchased new hair spray @ the same time and can't decide which one seems to be causing a gray type build up on my hair piece? I hope to determine soon which product is causing the issue and I hope it's not the wig wand because I hope to keep using it.

This wand really does tone down the shine a bit. It is handy I store it in a crock on my dresser.

Everyone recommends using baby powder to take the shine out of a wig - though it works, I'm not a fan of smelling like baby powder all day. So I bought this and it works great (and no smell!). You may have to use a good amount depending on how severe the shine is, but it definitely made mine look more natural.

It works just as well as a bit of talc or powder spray seems to, it's all in how you like to apply your potion.

I received a red wand in a plastic bag
Had no idea what I was suppose to do.
So I ran it over the wig...Nothing.
I slowly did it again...nothing.
So does it work?
Not for me.
My wig is still shiny and not natual looking till I wash it.
Will I buy this again?....No

My daughter has started to play with it...so it keeps my toddler busy.

I have more than a few faux hair wigs and some of them come with a bit of a shine so I just use the wig wand and pat all over the wig mainly the top of it while it is on my head and not only will it reduce shine it will also smooth fly away strands. I love all of Jon Renau's products and am most happy with Hon Renau's quality of hair it is not too shiney and feels and looks like real human hair. Thanks Jon Renau
