Expression Lace Front Wig by Revlon - $244.95
Incredibly Natural Looking Wig!
I was amazed and pleased with how natural looking and easy to wear this piece is. I purchased color #223R Sunlit Beige; it's extremely flattering and I continue to receive many compliments.
It's so natural looking that no one has guessed I'm wearing a wig and I forget I'm wearing one because it's so lightweight.
The only con about it is that the actual wig looks quite a bit different than the photos. It's much longer on me, more one length than layered and flatter on top than it appears on the model. This can be modified with a cut and working our own hair into
Great Non-Wiggy Wig!!!
I love a few different Revlon wigs. This one is my favorites. It's very light, easy, pretty wearable out of the box. I worked with the part a bit. Didn't like it at first.. when I tried it again it was pretty perfect. It looks longer than the photo. I'm wearing in Sunny Spice. When I order again I'll go a bit lighter- like Creme Brulee. There's not a lot of difference between the two shades.
Easy & lightweight. Natural looking.
Have to work with it a bit.. otherwise nothing.
This is the most comfortable wig I have ever worn. So real looking everyone thought I had cut my hair. The color is beautiful and the cut so easy to manage. I would recommend this piece to everyone!
This is the first time I've ever purchased a wig (from somewhere else and a big mistake)! I'm tired of staring at the sparseness of the hair on top of my head and trying to hide it. The cap size was a bit large for me so I had to have a wig stylist resize it which was not a problem. Purchased EASE in 8/16 TR which was a beautiful brown/caramel color but a bit chunky on the highlights. This color would be perfect for summer. As I am not use to wearing a wig, I feel very insecure. Now have ordered the Scorpio style (from this site) in another color which is closer to my current shade and style. Hope this works as I appreciate reading all the reviews as a first timer. Just need to get over my own hang ups on wearing a wig. Ease is really quite pretty and not too, too thick. I'm use to thinning hair all over but this wig made me feel pretty good without looking like I was wearing a wig. Found it a bit shiny, so ordered the powder pouf to downplay the shine. The only negative was that we couldn't get the part to comb to the opposite side (from left to right) so ended up with bangs to compensate. The stylist told me the wig could not be parted because it was sewn to fall a certain direction. Still not sure if that's true as the video said it could be styled with any type of part. Just need to get past my own insecurities
Realistic and nice looking style.
your stylist must not have much experience with wigs. monofilament wigs can be parted anywhere in that area. tho they come out of the box "styled" you can easily change the part buy wetting the area, re-parting it, and letting it air dry in that direction or blow drying on a cool setting. same goes for the hair knotted into the lace portion. if you're still insecure about wearing it try a piece of lace tape by the ears and maybe one in the center or a couple good bobby pins to keep the sides down and secure. dulling shine is easy with a little baby powder. this is a great wig :)
realistic ear to ear lace
hand-tied for a low density style with movement
I have this wig in colour 12R. It's a lovely light golden brown with subtle highlights in a natural blend. The style is great and suits square face shape perfectly. Because it is straight and low density, it looks like I straightened my hair. I gave this style 5 stars because my local wig stylist thought it was human hair twice. The part came zigzagged, and although it's a monotop, it is quite full. The demarcation line between lace front and monotop is therefore hidden, which is a plus. I don't care much for the ear to ear lace front because you need to adhere the eartabs to keep the cap secure. The hairline is quite full so I don''t find the effect of the lace front to add much to realism. The fully hand-tied cap does add a lot to the realism of this wig. It has more movement and falls more naturally than a wefted back. It's also lower density than wefted caps, which makes this an ideal wig to simulate natural hair. A small minus for the plastic smell that wasn't reduced by washing.
Can you actually pull this back into a pony tail? I heard that with some ear to ear lace wigs you can, or is that better fore FULL lace wigs?
