Darlene Synthetic Wig by Jon Renau - $101.95
All Apprehensions Quickly Dissappeared
I bought this wig on a whim because of the coupon. My hair is thinning but I wear my wigs for fun as much as I wear them for need. I wasn't sure about this one. But I figured why not give it a try. I have the coupon, so let's go for it. When I first opened the box, my 6 year old wanted to try it on... What a laugh. He looked like he had on a mullet... business in the front, party in the back. I thought OH MY What did I buy? I went in and tried it on. It took about 10 minutes and some spray to get it styled. But it turned out nicely. I was very pleased. And it does not look like a mullet (just FYI). It actually turned out GORGEOUS. I love it. I intend to buy it in some other colorways eventually (as more sales arise here and there). It actually reminds of the way I used to wear my hair way back in high school days. This is the first Jon Renau wig I've bought. I have a larger head and most wigs just stay put. This wig wants to pull back over the course of a few hours. That is easily solved with a sewing in a few wig clips. I recommend this wig.
Fun new look.
Cute but very much a shag!
I bought this in a crazy color to use as a costume wig and I love it. I think this is an older style and it is VERY shaggy in a Carol Brady sort of way, but it can be worked with. There's enough hair to pouf it up or move it around so it's workable. I think for an older style like this it's overpriced, but I got it for a pretty good deal during a storewide sale so it was worth it to me. The color 24BL2-33 is way fun as are all the Renau stacked colors - not wearable for every day but for costumes and photoshoots it's great!
Lots of hair to play with
