This wiglet even fooled my hairdresser!By Robin from Illinois on August 8, 2011 Just how do you get a “crowning glory”? I have never had one. They say that a woman’s crowning glory is her hair, but I didn’t have enough hair on my head to keep a hairclip in, let alone have a CROWN! Hi, my name is Robin and I am challenged with the issue of seriously thinning hair. It all started with menopause, hormonal imbalance, and side effects of medications. One of these alone can be the culprit, but I had all three to deal with. I was losing hair rapidly. Most days I could disguise it pretty well, but before I knew it, I did not have enough hair to “cover” all the bald spots anymore! After trying various lotions, sprays, powders, shampoos, oils, etc. I found myself spending over $300.00 per month on hair loss products that weren’t even working! I was at my wits end.
So…. I made a decision. I typed in the word “WIG” on my computer to see what I could find. I could not believe I actually had gotten so desperate to resort to this! I cried as I looked at the websites, feeling ugly and hopeless. Then, something caught my eye! There, on the Vogue webpage, I saw a “WIGLET” called Berlin from Noriko. What the heck is a wiglet? I read more about the Berlin and found out I actually had an alternative to wearing a full wig! I saw a color called Toasted Brown that seemed like a pretty good match so…I took a deep breath and ordered it! OH MY GOSH! When I got my wiglet in the mail, my hands were shaking I was so excited and nervous! I took it out of the box, gave it a good shake and plopped that baby right on my head! This little piece of magic totally transformed my life! I even fooled my hairdresser, that is how REAL it looks! It is so versatile; I curl my real hair at the bottom for a fun, casual flip, or curl my real hair under at the bottom for a more sophisticated look. I can pump up the volume with spray or let it go natural for a soft, feminine look. I always keep two of these on hand and alternate them. Now, I have beautiful, shiny, healthy looking hair every single day! I am so glad I discovered Vogue and the Berlin! Thanks for helping me get back to "being me" again! I love the colour, (dark chocolate) and the style, and the natural look. Love the ease of putting it on and ease of styling it.
