I very much dislike it when beards appear fake on stage which is why I was concerned when I was forced to cast several women as villagers in our production of Fiddler on the Roof. We have a very small budget and I was worried that there was no way to find a "natural" looking beard to disguise our cross gender actors. The 5-point beard did the trick. Easy to use, and very natural looking. Without looking at the program, no one will know those boys are girls! Thanks Vogue Wigs for making high quality affordable.

Affordable, high quality, fast delivery, great looking.

    For a costume, looks real

Received black and purchased a mustache in black (M-1) to go with it & give a full beard look. We haven't affixed them to the actor yet, but they appear more life like than most synthetics: no shine, the "hair" strands are not identical in appearance. The only problem is there are no instructions with the product nor does the online description identify the type of product you will need to affix, then remove, either one. Since the online description didn't reference a need to purchase an additional product, I assumed the beard and the mustache would come with an adhesive product--they don't. Again, the packaging doesn't say what products can be used & not used with the items.

    Looks real

Online description didn't say I'd need to purchase adhesive nor how to care for it.

I asked this question last week but haven't received an answer: how does one affix it to the face?

The beard has adhesive attached to it.

Buying an adhesive or a spirit gum will help keep the item intact.
